The challenge
What we were solving for.
An aggressive 18-month delivery window required overlapping design, fabrication, and field installation across twelve MEP and structural trades.
Module-based prefabrication left no margin for field-routed corrections — every conflict had to be resolved before steel was cut.
Our approach
How BimCon delivered.
- Stood up a weekly clash detection cadence in Navisworks with a published resolution log shared across trade partners.
- Issued LOD 400 fabrication models for chilled water, busway, and containment, sequenced to match the prefab vendor's release schedule.
- Embedded a BimCon coordinator on the GC's Big Room two days per week to close issues in real time.
