The challenge
What we were solving for.
Nine process utilities had to share a single overhead corridor with strict slope, fall-protection, and access requirements.
Fabricator was on a four-week lead-time cycle that demanded fully coordinated spool packages on a fixed cadence.
Our approach
How BimCon delivered.
- Built a federated coordination model from architectural, structural, and trade contributors with weekly clash sessions.
- Released spool drawings on a two-week cadence aligned to the fabricator's queue.
Scope of work
What BimCon delivered.
BIM coordination
Multi-trade clash detection, weekly cadence, published issue log and resolution tracking.
MEP detailing
LOD 400 fabrication-level modeling for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process trades.
Scan-to-BIM modeling
Verified-as-built Revit model authored from the registered point cloud at the agreed LOD.
